Trail boss and Campro bullets?

I know that only lead bullets are recommended with Trail Boss. I was wondering if any of you guys have experimented with plated bullets and what kind of results you got.

I've used it with plated and jacketed bullets in .308 and still have all my fingers... While it's designed for CAS it has a lot of applications in reduced loads for hunting with cup and core bullets.

Just fire 50 campro bullets and trail boss . Very accurate . 250g plated and 5g trailboss, not sure where I got that recipe but it worked fine. Edit: it was using a .45 Lc

Trail boss is fine with jacketed bullets in my .308. IMR publishes data for lots of cartridges and TB.

Another +1. I've used a lot of Trail Boss in multiple cartridges including .308 Win, .300 Blackout, .44 Mag., and .38 Spl. You'll have no issues with plated or jacketed bullets from my experience.

I use it for any of them lead, plated, powder coated, jacketed. No issues so far.

Makes a great light load for my 30-30s with berry's plated 150gr bullets. IMR has a process for developing your own loads for cartridges they don't publish info for.

That's exactly what I intend to use it for, a nice Pietta SAA clone in .45Colt with Campro 250gr bullets.
