Been thinking of picking up a cell trail camera and was wondering the consensus of what make and model that won’t break the bank. Currently just using an older Wildlife Inovations non cell.

I actually have been looking at those and wasn’t sure how well they worked. Looks pretty good.

Takes 10 second movies, as well as stills, day and night.
Batteries lasted pretty well in 'few animal' spots, and emptied pretty quick when I aimed them at leaves which moved every time the wind blew.
I was happy with it till the lenses got mucked up. I tried cleaning them and the pictures remained fogged. And that was why I threw it out this year.

I am running about 15 of them at this time. Some sit out where we moose hunt for all year before I get back to them. Some are on my farm and get checked every few months. They do video and pics. Video also have sound. I can’t say enough good about these. And the price is so cheap.

the Izeeker camera is a good camera, but it is not a cellular camera. I've been running one for about a year. I really like the fact that it can capture sound as well.

How do you find the trigger speed and how far away it captures?
I've been running an izeeker solar powered unit for a couple years and am generally happy with it, I believe it was in the $70 range when I got it. I say generally happy with it as I'm not sure I have all the setting quite right. There will be times when I get 12 pics a week so I'll change the settings and last week I maxed out my SD card. I have my camera set up in an area with a lot of tall grass and when it gets windy, I'm guessing the camera picks that up as motion as I get a ton of pics that are exactly the same with no deer. I've gotten several pics of doe's in the area and 1 butt, which is assuming was the large buck I've seen in the field. Again, I don't believe it's a fault of the camera, rather the user.
Edit - pretty sure it has been user error. I just checked the manual on amazon. A smart person would have read the manual in the box when it came. The camera does appear to be catching long grass as movement as well. Long story short, it's still $70. I'll likely pick up another.

I have two cameras on my home section. One is on back side of the property in tall grass and does not take a million pictures every time the wind blows, but I have another camera that I move around from my north pasture to the south or other pastures and no matter where I put it it will see tall grass, trees, or bailing twine blowing in the wind and take a million photos.
I really thought I had a setting wrong also, but no matter what I change with that camera it always does the same thing
I have had no issues with mine. Even the battery life surprised the hell out of me.
Then I could the -40 in the winter would do them in but they just keep going
Might have to try another?
I never have good luck with cheaper equipment
All of mine just started taking really blurry pics. Couldn't tell what anything was, especially at night.
I could hear turkeys gobbling on video but couldn't really see them?
Or deer walking but just a blurry blob.
One started a few months after getting them and ALL did the same after about a year in the elements?
How often do you check them? I wonder if there is moisture getting inside of the front door is opened to much.Might have to try another?

I would check them around the 2 week mark.
I think, if i remember right, I bought 4 on a "lightning deal" on Amazon for 39.99$ each.
No biggie that they crapped out, to me for that price.
They did take really good pics at first.
