Trail Cameras?

Looking for some advice on trail cameras. I want a digital model that is weatherproof, can be used year round and can be mounted on a tripod. Which brand, features, etc. do you recommend?
 
You have to be careful with digitals, sometimes they take a second or two to come out of 'sleep' mode and snap a pic.

I had some custom ones ordered up for an application once, and i had to be a little fussy picking the right one. Many i looked at had a two second delay. They can't stay powered on the whole time or they die pretty quick. Some manufacturers try to 'get around' that by widening the sensor beam, but that CAN lead to more 'false' game, like rabbits and such. Which is fine, if you want ALL the animals in the area.
 
Trail cameras are great but sometimes the picture taken might make a guy think twice about hunting an area.:eek:

i might as well jump in here to with a ?...when you use these out in the bush,how do you get see what triggered it?do they have a screen on them or do you down load them at home on a computer..or are they the same cards you can use in a camera?

fogducker, mine is a 35 mm which I have to take the film out and get developed but my son and I are saving our money to buy a digital one which one can view the pictures in the field.
 
Moultrie Digital 100

I picked up 2 Moultrie Digital game camera 100 at Wal-Mart in the US for about $98 each. They are very easy to use and take great pictures. With the SD cards you can leave them up and just swap card in and out. The most important feature to have is date and time !!
