i picked up the 3rd one in early may. Takes AMAZING pictures! and the batterie is still showing full after 1,000+ pics!
The Bushnell Trophy cam is supposed to be basicly the same camera as the Scoutguard, just in a different shell, and cost less money, and does not need a separate remote control/programmer like the Scoutguard. Not having to carry around a separate remote unit is what made me buy the Bushnell over the Scoutguard.
My first Cam was a Moultrie I40, and my new Bushnell is much much better in almost every way compared with the Moultrie. The only thing my Moultrie is better at is night shots. The IR flash is a bit stronger on the moultrie.
Did you read the final review of the Bushnell Trophy Cam XLT on Chasingame.com.
Looks like there are still water infiltration problems...same style of case as the old cams, with the same old problems.
Hope you have better luck then they did.![]()
moultrie i40
Nice camera, and moultrie has them on clearance to make way for new models
going for around $150 retail!
The Moultrie I40 does not have near the amount of settings available that the Bushnell or Scoutguard has, not to mention the Moultrie is more than twice the size as the Bushy and Scoutguard, and as I mentioned, the Moultrie makes a noticeable click, when it takes a pic.
The flash of my Bushnell seems to spook the animals a little but they then procced to sniff and sometimes lick the camera in following shoots, IR is nice but the flash seems to work more reliabely. I am going to get a Moultrie M65 as my next cam.
