What trail cams are you using? What do you think about them? Have you used a different brand in the past?

I have tried bushnell, moultrie, wildview, wild innovations.... I now exclusively run spy points.... great pics, features and battery life....

I have tried both the Bushnell and Moultrie cameras and have had the best luck with the Moultries for reliability and battery life.

I have two moultries that run off 6 c batteries.
I run them all winter here in sask and battery life
Is excellent at -40

Moultrie have specials on again and i wouldnt
Hesitate to purchase from them again.

Whatever you do don't buy stealth cams. I've had three that were anywhere from $100 to $300 all go to #### on me.

I tried Primos.........never worked right out of the box but I bought it when passing through the States so had to pay to ship it back even though it was brand new. Real pain to deal with.

Have a plot_watcher set up on a food plot. Doesn't really take video but a time lapse. Seems OK if you are watching a fairly wide area. Got about 3 months on 8 AAs but am recording 12 hrs/day at 2 sec intervals.

I've had good luck with my Moultrie. It's about 4 years old now and still doing well. Runs on 6C batteries and they last for an entire season no problem. I only paid about $100 for it at Walmart at the time and wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

I use the cheap simmons 2pack thats like 130 bucks. Picture isnt exactly "hd" but it does the job

I like wild game innovation. A few white out pics if the animal is close. I've even had one submerged under water during a flood. Still works
