Training day for Arlo

A friend of my wife's got a new dog and asked to help train the pup for hunting which I gladly did as it's great fun. We've got Arlo steady to wing and he's getting better at staying put for the shot, but he's only 8 months old and has moments uber excitement. I took him out today with my old guy Chip for some work and everyone did well ( I even hit all the training birds )

I miss my bird dogs, no time now for training will have to wait for retirement.

I love doing dog work, luckily my wife also enjoys dogs and teaches and competes our dogs in obedience, in fact Chip is in Ontario someplace at a show.
