Don't know where I heard it - and it may be misinformation - but I heard that when you purchase your first restricted firearm, before it's transferred to you, the CFC calls your house and asks to speak to you, and at least one other resident of the house (if there is one).
True, or more spurious "information" ???
The reason I'm asking is - temporarily moved back home, and everyone in the house is cool with me having firearms in the house... I just don't want my brother knowing I have an M1911A1 coming, and I'd rather that he didn't answer the phone/find out. He's kinda chatty with his friends, and I'd rather not let the entire neighbourhood know what I've got coming.
