Transfer of restricted/now prohibited FA

I am the seller of a colt sa20. The transfer was initiated prior to the order. I now have a reference number advising the transfer is approved.

With all of the prohibitions on going to a range or moving it anywhere any experience on facilitating the transfer? Anyone had this yet?

You're allowed to transport it to the post office (or buyer's residence/the buyer to your residence, if local). No paperwork needed, it's covered under the amnesty. Just transport the firearm as you would any other prohibited firearm.

Experience is not your question. Your question is what is legal.

It is lawful for you or the buyer to transport the firearm to a place of storage. You do not require an ATT. HOWEVER, you are NOT allowed to ship the firearm. It must be transported by YOU, or them.

There probably aren't many people in this boat, because it was illegal for the CFO to approve the transfer.
