Transfer time for New Handgun

My Walther PDP was approved in 2 days. The actual paper took 3 weeks to get here.

Rec'd transfer number from seller on Wednesday, called in a 12:30 pm Pacific, email confirmation Thursday at noon. (Ont to BC).

Received the paperwork three days ago. Now I truly own it.

This week private sale BC to ON took 24 hours from start to completed. Someone in Ontario crack the whip ? lol

Just called in as well. Quebec to Ontario private. In August it took 2-3 weeks. Fingers crossed for something quicker.

In my experience private sales take much longer while dealers sales are quicker.

My purchases was form a dealer in NFLD.

I bought a new gun from my LGS today so I will be able to compare since I bought one privately yesterday. My LGS here in Ontario said they are at 3 to 4 days for approval. Fingers crossed.

Quebec is around 48hrs, where as ontario is around 2 weeks nowadays

Mine went through in 2 days in Ontario yet.

Ok here is a new record for me. I live in Ontario and purchased a new firearm from my LGS yesterday at 330pm. I got the call from them at 130pm today and I just picked it up. 22 hour turnaround. I had to check for a sec I thought I lived in Alberta.
I am waiting for a private sale in Quebec to Ontario. In the meantime I bought a lotto ticket to see if my luck continues.
