Transfer times in BC

There are more than likely people on this site that work in that department and are now purposefully screwing you for your behaviour LOL.

I have security clearance too - I know how to do stuff! But I got two registration emails sent today. Probably for not being a bit of a turd. Just sayin. Maybe it's not true. i'm a bit of a turd. but not that much.
 
I just now received my transfer notification for a gun I ordered on June 4th from Marstar. It's not actually the first gun I ordered, but I guess Marstar was first to jump on the paperwork.
 
Can somebody please explain how the transferring of restricted works? The steps that are involved?

As a buyer, I have just called in the reference number that the seller provided to me. Yes, it took 2 hours to get through on the phone. The CFC guy asked if i wanted email notification, or have it mailed out. I chose email.

So now what? Do both seller and buyer just wait for the transfer to be approved?

If so, typically, how long does it take for CFC to approve the transfer? I am guessing that the wait time pre-c21 announcement and post c-21 announcement will be different?

Ya, clearly i dont do R transfers very often, lol

Pre-C21 = 24-36 hours
Post-C21 = 6-8 Weeks

You just wait until you get your transfer notification and then the gun belongs to you.
 
Had anyone been able to get through to 9530 in the last few days? I had a pretty good run of luck for a while there but have been trying almost non stop since last week and haven’t been able to get past the dreaded “We apologize…” message. Still waiting on a couple transfers.
 
For anyone wondering about Reg Certificates, just received mine 12 business days after the date on the transfer.

This has been typical for me in BC pre-panic, 10-14 business days.
 
Still waiting on a transfer from June 2…… From my LGS in BC. The transfer was initiated within an hour of my purchase. LGS has been great, CFO not so great.

So it's not just me. Still waiting for two transfers from June 3rd. Misery loves company.
