Newbie question: can a buyer initiate a transfer via phone? I tried to call the CFO, but good luck getting through! Thanks
how come my number August 12 6000### so are you sure it's from 601####
Absolutely! All you need is a serial number of a restricted firearm and certificate number provided by the seller and you can initiate the transfer as buyer, seller will need to complete the transfer once the reference # is provided by cfo.
Ontario. May 31st purchase. Received my reference number on June 15th as 5894### from tenda. I am still waiting for my approval.
June 1st purchase at 5894### with no approval.
June 3rd purchase at 5911### with no approval.
I also purchased from Tenda on June 1st. From what I understand, they got a lump of orders in and called in a large amount of transfers at the same time. From a business standpoint I understand why they did this. My reference # is 5907### and I have note received my approval yet. I will update on here when I get my approval. I'm expecting by the second week of Sept.
They don’t even need more staff. They could automate the whole process and get thousands of transfers completed in less than a minute. They wouldn’t have to compromise on anything, a simple algorithm would check for every single thing they’re currently checking for.
This is what makes this so frustrating, they know they can make this easy for us but they’d rather inflict as much pressure on us as possible.
Ref 5947….June 21. Ontario business to BC resident. Approved today. Hope this helps!
