Its frustrating (and inexcusable on the govt's part) to have to wait so long for the paperwork. But they are slowly grinding through, so yeah, its a long wait, but you snuck it on under the wire, so it will get to you eventually. Don't stress over all the c-21 changes either, the libs have made that such a poop-show that it won't move quickly come the next session of parliament. And it would be damn expensive to stop any pending transfers.
It's very frustrating but I'm lucky enough to have got my license just in time, the RCMP put the wrong address in the system so I should have got my license a month earlier in September, and I know I'll get it eventually which a few of my friends can't say since they didn't make the deadline. Yeah the C-21 changes are worrying but I hope they made such a mess that the NDP and Bloc take a serious look at the whole bill and it gets scraped somehow.

I have had one in the works since mid-August. (6011###)
Called last week and was told it's still with the provincial CFO.
The apparatchik says they are currently taking about 6 months.
She didn't appreciate it when I mentioned that they need more staff after she commented that they are very busy.
I managed to resist saying it's because of their pointless new regs.
Call the BC CFO directly. See my post above and my original post on page 120.
June 6th 591### Ontario store to qc private(first rpal). Cfo called me last week to tell me my spouse info was wrong. I corrected her on the phone she didn’t phone back. Wrote them an email and they responded it’s in processing still. The amount of fiery hoops we have to jump thru is amusing at best . Also why is qc cfo sitting on first time transfers.

Aug 21st Ontario dealer to Sask, transfer approved Dec 11th (yes it appears they are working on Sunday). However I also have a transfer from a different Ontario dealer from Aug 11th that has not been approved yet.

Is it your first restricted? If so they will call your references, and apparently as of last week QC CFO says they are required to get approval from CFP... we assume this is to check that the item was not imported after the cut off or something like that.
If its not your 1st you should have it soon.
