Transfer Times

...right. BUT I was specifically highlighting the process rates. 400 a day vs. 100 a day. Has nothing to do with the "size of the pile"

If you’re talking about Ontario, I think it is due to the fact they have picked up the pace on private to private transfers, as a result the business to private transfers have slowed. The chart tracking transfers is for business to private transfers. As a result it appears that transfers have slowed, but they are performing private to private transfers at a faster pace.

For example, they might have been approving 350 business transfers and 50 private transfers on average per day. Now they are performing 200 business and 200 private. So still processing 400 a day, it’s just the chart is tracking 200 instead of 350.

My point was, that although the pile was growing ever higher, they seem to have slowed down as it grew. If so, it's pretty much by choice given it is all just more bits and bytes. Hence, the comment "conclude what we will from that".

Ontario dealer to NWT private, ordered mid August.
Transfer initiated September 6th. Still waiting

Anyone mail in a transfer? How long between when you mailed it in until the start date of the transfer? I mailed in something early August, but who knows how long from AB to NB then presumably back to AB. I should have emailed it but didn't know that was an option at the time. Let's hope it didn't get lost.
