Transfer Times

Getting so close now, from the sounds of where all your transfer numbers are at. I was able to get my hands on a brand new Canik Rival, but Paid a crazy premium. No regrets though. As it's the only pistol I will ever own I'm guessing. Once the transfer email comes in, What is the next step. Does the seller then just mail the pistol out to me? And is there anything your should do to a brand new pistol? Oil, lube?
Thanks for any advice.

You have to fondle it and sleep with it the first few nights, to get it acquainted to the new home.

If its your first pistol, first I would get some snap caps and just get to know it. Dry-fire and learn how to operate it, lock the slide, etc. When I get a new gun, the first thing I usually do it take it apart so I understand what is what and then follow a youtube video from a trusted source on how to lubricate it.

Just completed a P2P transfer from AB to BC. Initiated Sept 15, 2022. 6033###. While getting an ATT, Alberta CFO officer indicated there were just over 1200 transfers left to complete (I'm assuming Alberta only?). It's the first time they answered the phone first try with no time on hold...that was weird.

My P2P transfer is 60268XX and was Sept 8, it will be interesting to see how much of a difference in timing vs B2P is.

It took 167 days to do from Sept 8 to today.
I think it is safe to assume the b2p and p2p are pretty much in step with each other now

That's it man. I'm going to baby her, get to know her, practice dry firing daily. And like you said strip her down to get to know her inside and out
