Transfer Times

Good day y’all, just inquiring the process of transferring

Still waiting for an approval
Am I suppose to be receiving an email or phone call for the approval?
And will I be able to pick up my property after that or is there more paperwork to retain?

Tried calling the rcmp 800 number but had to hang up after 50mins on hold

You will be getting an email.
You can go pick it up and bring it home or they can ship it to you. But you can't take it anywhere else until the registration certificate comes in the mail.
 
My final transfer was approved today.

I really hope this isn't the last time I wait for a pistol transfer.
But if it is, I'd like to thank all those here who answered my questions early on and everyone else who kept the transfer chart up to date.
And I would like to add my personal thanks to everyone else who already has thanked the person who made and consistently updated that chart. That was huge service to all of us. We owe you.

You have to call Ontario CFO number to get through to them. Your best bet is to email them (I haven’t had a picked up call in a 6 months)

If it's P2P they're behind. I'm waiting on a 605###x myself. B2P you can call ontario cfo and they should approve over the phone.
 
Any more recent Business or P2P to Saskatchewan transfer to report? I’m in Saskatchewan and debating starting a restricted transfer….any intel from SK boys appreciated!
 
Hey all.

Are the PtoP in Ontario still sort of off kilter? I'm waiting on one that's 60517XX (initiated Oct 13). Am I panicking for no reason or should I reach out to the CFO? The seller says he hasn't heard anything either.

Thanks for your opinions.

Call CFOON, I called on Friday for a P2P in the 60522xx range. I was told it must have been forgotten, agent on the phone did a quick inquiry and told me it would be reviewed later that day. Got the approval email 2 hours later.
