Don't think so. The main issue with the transfer time is not the RCMP it's the provincial CFO. Also not all public servant are in the same Union so we might be safe... (I don't know which Union represent them tho)

my transfer number is 6034### and I am still waiting for them.... bcafe is taking way longer than all the other to approve transfer.

Contact them, one of your transfer might have fallen between the crack. I remember reading about people in similar situation and they had their issue resolved after contacting the cfo.

In QC the bcafe take ages to do the transfer but you can contact them via e-mail and they usually answer you the next day.

I got mine approved in less than 2 days from SK to Alberta on fcc

Judging by the lack of posts since April, I'd say most CFOs are caught up. A recent visit to an ONT dealer confirmed they could do a restricted rifle transfer within a week.

Still waiting on one last transfer approval on a sale to a fellow in QC. Been just over 7 months. I called the CFC and they said it’s all good, no issues, it’s being processed.

And I thought we were bad in Ontario.

Finally my last (for now) transfer came through. Purchased in late August 22 , approved May 5 23. As much as I would like to #####, I have it in hand. I luv it and it makes every noise I was hoping for. Keep the faith. The Libs and their woke horseshat are in trouble and they know it.

I'm in BC. I got my restricted transfer approved in 2 weeks. Ordered on May 11, processed on May 25.
