Transfers

When completing a private transfer of a restricted, how do you receive the notification that it has been completed? Wasn't sure if it was a call, email etc?

I started my first one on Tuesday. Was told they would mail out the transfer notice and att to the post office. And if they remembered they would email me it as well.

I done one last week. They sent me notice of transfer in the mail. Took approx 5 business days. The form still says to call for an att to move the firearm. But I called cfo today. They said don't need one. Just my licence and the transfer sheet to take it home.

Usually it will be sent in the mail, they will email it to you if requested though.

Always ask them to email it...You can call them back and request it. Much faster than waiting for the mail.
