Transonic performance of 87grain vmax?

I ordered a few hundred 87 grain vmax's to do some plinking and seal hunting. Would like to try my hand at 1500 yard shooting and was wondering if any of you have any experience sending them way out there?

That is like shooting a 22 400 yards. It's fun but your not going to have much success. You need a bullet with twice the BC.

It'll work but get blown around like a rag doll.

Challenging though.

We have shot 55gr 22cals at 1100yds and it worked just fine.

for some LR plinking fun, many things work.
