Hey guys, so after looking at some NV options I seen something that can be a really cool option to see better at night. As you all know a good scope or goggles are expensive as hell, and your stuck switching between them.

These are see through/ transparent glasses and some of them have an IR camera built in (the augmented reality ones, while the display ones usually dont have a camera but have video in so theoretically you can hook up an IR bullet camera

I was pretty doubtful myself but I found one really crappy example of the IR mode on one model and it actually looks like it works quite well.

I wish they had a hicking/hunting/military specific modelthat focuses less on gaming, and Augmented reality and more on the NV aspect and heads up display (imagine gps, compass, speed etc)... unless there is something out there I couldnt find.

here are some pics of whats available (some are concepts I believe)

Why not? it was pitch black.

If you have ever walked to your hunting stand at 4 or 5 in the morning then you would know that kind of IR video in your eye would help alot and wouldnt scare off half the forest.

Dont try to compare this to a GEN II or II NV... try to compare this to your eyes.

also what are the flaws? all I know about these is that as long as you have IR light shining at where you want to see then you will see. I know your not sniping things at 400 yards, but is 150 yards un reasonable with this tech?
