Hello Gents ,so am having issues shooting SCORE trap shells.Thought it might be my gun (model 12) but now am thinking I might have some primer issues. It is so random that it drives me crazy but am looking to see if anyone else has had issues as well. So every 2-5 boxes will get a misfire, primer hit no bang, reload the same shell and bang. The gun I believe now is not the issue as the primer seems to be getting a good "hit" .Could there be a run of bad shells as I shot multiplex and went through a case including practice no issue. Never had this before ,??Have 20 cases left so am hoping its isolated ..

Is SCORE still in the business of making shotgun ammo in Abbotsford?

Maybe you're thinking of sterling cross who makes black goose shotgunshells.
I just bought a flat of it, and it says Abbotsford on the box.

Yup, my error, must be Black Goose. The last time I looked at their site, maybe a year ago, there was no mention of shotgun shells. I’m going to be at the Chilliwack Gun Show, easy to visit Black Goose.

Yes this is my third order of score Shells never had an issue before wondering if the component shortage (these are from 2020) was/is a factor. So far this year have shot 5 cases and had 9 misfires .

That is a lot. They were averaging 1-2 per 1000
I would check your firing pin in the old model 12 and try a few boxes in a different gun
I know you have one :)

i picked up a flat of score. I shot a few boxes and have no issues. I know others who have used their shells and have no issues.

I shoot browning synergy cx and I've test fired it in a mossberg 940.
