Trapper Wanted to dispose of Coyotes

Kinda funny, I’ve killed so many coyotes this year that the ravens are following my truck around. And this isn’t traditional raven country.

The Ontario Fish & Wildlife Conservation Act states that i's an offense to waste meat suitable for human consumption or pelts that are viable" being the key word. Currently, pelts are worthless on the fur market and 60% are mangy AF. Either makes a pelt not viable. We blow them up and drag them off well out of sight of wandering bunny huggers or the usual citiot shyte disturbers.

Does the Act define viable?

No,it doesn't appear to. It's completely left open to interpretation as circumstances seem to dictate. I've not seen charges laid when it comes to pelts, only when it comes to game meat......not to say that it hasn't happened, but,I'm not aware of any. The word "viable" can have several connotations under law,the primary being "usable".

Yeah its quite something. Ive shot more this year than ive gotten in the last 6 years combined. Got 5 today.

No one cares about coyote pelts. A guy in apple country (Port hope, grafton, colborne, Ontario) used to just hang ‘em all in a tree. You think people who shoot red squirrels save pelts lol

Called at a few stands yesterday. Could see the coyotes 5-600 yards out, would not come within range. <400 yards
300$ rangefinder with solution or a verified dope card taped to the buttstock along with a dial able optic, fast twist 223 or 6mm with a heavy bullet BC above .4 and try your luck at 500yds… you’d be surprised!

Plenty of them hang up around 4-600yds in a certain area we call and we don’t let them get away with it.
My buddy and I practice regularly, him being a better shot than me and we go around three for five on a 500yd shot.
He shoots a 6 creed with a Burris eliminator, myself a fast twist 223 sending 77gr TMKs.
