Hey guy's

I am pretty sure I am going to sign up for an upcoming trappers course. Just curious how tough the course is? Apparently it is 3 days, 40 hours total, hands on pelt prep, field day,24hrs of class time and exam. Pretty expensive course and it is a 2 hour drive each day/night from home, may just get a hotel room for those 3 days.

Anyone out there that has taken this course that could shed some light?

it is a very easy coures to pass if you read the book you will have no problem .pelt handeling will be at best left overs from last year or coon found on the road as there is not to much trapping going on this time of year .at least here in southern ont .it is a very good coures but the videos are very out of date .you will enjoy the coures DUTCH

I did the course at the beginning of the year. It's hard to fail but you have to pay attention and read through the book. There is no fur prep for the test but you have to know the traps, the types and sizes you are allowed to use for what animals. There is also a trap setting portion to the test. I got creative with mine and didn't use the standard sets most people used. It's pretty easy and fairly educational.
