Travelling to Matches? ATT?

This is the first season I will be doing some longer distance travelling for IPSC matches in BC. If I am driving from Vancouver to Kelowna and will be staying in a hotel, what is the procedure for this?? Do I need an ATT ? How exactly do I do this?

Also If I am travelling to Vancouver island in a 3 hour ferry ride, is it acceptable to leave the guns in the car when I go upstairs for a crappy burger??

I have not given this any thought as all of my matches have been local.

Make sure you have an invitation for the match with you.

You can get a the longterm ATT that specifies all ranges through BC and the Yukon. Give the CFO a call and say you are a member of IPSC. One of my fellow IPSC members also has one that extends to Alberta too. Being in the hotel or stopping for dinner etc is all fine otherwise no one could go anywhere.

My LTATT goes from BC to Manitoba, NWT, and the Yukon.

Include a scan of your IPSC BC membership with your application and ask for all of Western Canada.
