Do you adjust so that your group is 2" above the point of impact? We do zero our rifles at 100m but we ensure the group is 2" high so that you'll hit point of impact at 200m, only then will the other elevation settings work properly. Of course they won't be perfect, but close enough.

If you can determine that your holding 4" low at 300m and beyond then your eyes are a lot better than mine.
 
Something is wrong with your scope. If you are zeroing at 100 then you should be shooting low at all the other ranges.

Zero at 100m and go CC 1 click on the C79 - that will be the 200m zero. The drop between 100 and 200 is about 1.5 MOA. The battle sight BDC is on the high side, so you want to be slightly low at 200m so it won't go way too high when you use the BDC at 300. It will be more than good enough to pass PWT3 but you won't be winning the CFSAC.
 
I have also been known to conduct walk forwards so guys could see how their point of impact changes as they get closer to the target.

Height over Bore? Whats that?
 
I have my Aimpoint PRO set for 50/200 yards. Not sure if it's exactly 200 yards are not but it doens't matter. I can hit the 300 yard 12inch x 14 inch plate we have, and hit the old BBQ tank at 400 yards. Its a 2 MOA dot so at the 400 yard mark, it covers 8 inches!! Hold at the top of the tank and I hit it if I do my job.

Mounted on an AR 180B and we shoot on a friend's uncle's cousins' wife's brothers' farm we have permission to shoot on. My buddy with a Reminton 700 shoots out to 1,000 yards there. Lots of fun. Need to mount a proper scope on my AR 180B and see what it will do. Impressed with what I can do with a red dot.
