Treaty rights in alberts

Sask has had laws like this for a few years...Only Bands that signed treaties with land that fall within Sask borders have rights here....but every year they catch a few from Ont. Or Quebec poaching.

IF you can afford to drive from Quebec to Sask to hunt....you are not hard up for cash?

Do you have much thought as to perhaps 'the troubles started long ago and have not been dealt with yet?' It's not an easy fix; kinda like Northern Ireland, this problem started long ago...and isn't easy to fix.
I'm glad your nephew is doing well...some do. And many don't...products of a cycle I'd guess. Not making excuses for them, just saying few here would trade places just to get the hunting privileges.
Like the people ( White usually ) sniveling about Natives shooting elk in Suffield, just whining because they can't IMO. THe Elk situation in 'The Block' is a travesty...let the Natives shoot all they can use, the Ranchers surrounding 'The Block' sure won't complain.

True, had the Europeans never landed here, the natives wouldn't have certain problems. Not an easy fix, but I sure hope it does get fixed someday, somehow.
