Hello All,

I was asked earlier today about treelinem14.com, and so I think it should be posted (and maybe stickied ) for all to know how that website works. Randy the good fellow who operates treelinem14.com can/will ship "most" of what he sells on his website to Canada, a few things to keep in mind when having a look at his page are.

- Read the whole product description, it will tell you right at the bottom if he can or cant ship to Canada.

- In MOST cases if the product is UNDER $100.00 in value (without shipping charge I believe) and it DOES NOT have "Cannot ship to: Canada" at the bottom of the item description your good to go.JUST BE SURE TO READ THE WHOLE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION.

- In MOST cases if the item is OVER $100.00 in value it cannot be shipped to Canada. JUST BE SURE TO READ THE WHOLE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION.

- Keep in mind about what kind of part you are getting is it USGI or Sadlak, there is some bizzaro US laws that will not allow some USGI parts to cross the border for what ever reason, tho some parts can. Sadlak parts are not USGI so there is no issue there as the scope mounts are $100.00 + but they CAN be shipped to Canada. JUST BE SURE TO READ THE WHOLE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION.

- Basically JUST BE SURE TO READ THE WHOLE DESCRIPTION.

If you are still unsure about the product you can always send Randy an email he will let you know one way or another just look on the page for the "contact us" section.
If the part you needed cannot be shipped here, you can always have a look at ArmTac's page they carry a lot of the same stuff with no worries of border crossing. Hopefully this clears the air about treelinem14, I have ordered several times from him with no issues at all, good customer service indeed. In closing JUST BE SURE TO READ THE WHOLE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION. I think this section of the forum is a good place to post this, or maybe even in the General Firearms section, Could be useful it if was stickied, but that is up to the moderators good judgement to decide.

"..."Cannot ship to: Canada"..." There's cannot ship and cannot ship without the U.S. export permit. ALL M14 parts are restricted for export to anywhere.

Unfortunately all this chatter, outlining, how to posts, "ALL M14 parts restricted" etc etc is hurting us, just shut up and be happy we can order. All this talk is going to close the window, people don't seem to catch that. Even if he can ship M1A / commercial parts, there will come a time if he gets looked at that he'll just accross the board stop shipping ANY parts to Canada (see NECG sights just recently), it's happened with dozens of other retailers. So make like Ralph Klein, and "Shoot, shovel, and shut up." meaning order while you can and stop bringing it to the top of the board and flogging the issue. ;) Tact and discretion is very limited on the internet.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...the first rule of Fight Club is to not talk about Fight Club. Need parts? PM someone who's been kicking around in the Main Battle Rifles section for awhile, most will gladly PM you back with a contact or two...but when people start publicly bragging about how they managed to somehow get around various shipping restrictions, you just end up eventually ruining it for the rest of us.

I think and have heard that Randy and Treeline took great care in establishing what they can and can't legally export. Otherwise, the big hammer would have fallen long time ago. Much like it has to a great many sources for items that people keep bragging about receiving in the mail.

So.... What is this fight club I keep hearing about?? :D

Jebus! Becoming an M14(M305) owner & seeking out parts is not the same as joining a secret society!
The great thing about this forum is sharing the knowledge. Treeline & other U.S. retailers who will deal with
Canadians deserve to be recommended and their businesses promoted. Mentioning them on CGN is unlikely to
get them shut down, or "close the window". Maybe we have an inflated sense of self-importance about our mutual interest!

This was not posted as a Brag about excellent service, this was just to let the good people know, who may not know or even be confused about conflicting reports of treelinem14s ability to ship to Canada, its posted just to help others who may be in need, I dont see it as anything go crazy over. he provides a good service why not let people know.
