I was browsing their site, purchased over 1000$ US there last year including stocks
Now on the bottom of their site it has a 2017 date and has a mention no shipping to canada
Anyone aware of a change that might have hapenned?

Myself last order dates from late november, and website did not display that ; does not ship to canada message
Yourself did you notice at time of order?

Windy city sourcing won't ship at all to canada talked to him on the phone. US customs put a stop on m14 parts. Glad I have a brand new never used stripped trw bolt still lol

Some items they can't ship to Canada because of ITAR impediments, been like that for years. I think Brownell's will still send flash hiders, it's been a while since I ordered one though.

Edit: I just looked at there site and there are definitely a few items on the "not to Canada" list that weren't before, such as the Sadlak metric mag release catch. Boo-urns.

The point is, all the rules are been enforced on m14 stuff, no matter if it is less than $100.00 or not. He wasn't
doing that before. That is why Fred quit shipping to Canada. M14 parts are restricted and that is the rule.

Exactly, i had ordered stocks from them, flash hiders, handguards, stock hardware, all won't ship here anymore.
I might just remove one of my M305 that has many USGI parts from the EE

I ordered an op-rod guide, connector pin, and tung oil from him the other day and it has been shipped. It really sucks that he can't ship stocks anymore. Glad I "stocked" up when I could.

These new rules are very unfortunate, I have spent many a hard earned dollars at treeline and have always had a great experience, Randy is a great guy to do business with.

I sent him an email about the stock exporting situation and this was his reply:

Probably no USGI stocks - they have the evil selector cutout, which makes them "automatic weapons parts" according to the cretins at US Customs...

I may have some commercial stocks for sale soon without the cutout which should fly.

Randy

Damned bureaucrats :bangHead:

I did the same.

In his reply, he said that he had recently run afoul with an over-zealous US Customs agent, so he has be over-compliant for awhile.

He was my source for fun build parts

Now got nowhere to go for USGI fiberglass stock and hardware, flash hider and front sight, rear sight assembly...
These parts combined with an S&J spring guide and spring would make a chinese rifle awesome

Treeline will be on the customs list, so he will not be sending anymore stuff. A few other suppliers to Canada
have had the same visit. We are not going to receiver much of anything

Some US suppliers cleverly categorize parts as for the M1A, which is permissable, as opposed to the M14, which isn't.
Hopefully we all picked up some odds and ends when our dollar was good and export laws were more lenient, and we can
continue to sell and trade amongst each other as required, into the future.

If anyone is interested, I might be able to make an e2 style stock(or a regular my stock) out of birch or possibly Walnut. Message me to discuss if interested

I ordered a USGI stock metal set from them a few weeks ago, still waiting for delivery. Now I'm kinda worried it won't make it although it's not a stock just the metal.

I ordered a stock for my norinco m14 from them a month or so ago and they sent it no problems. Kinda glad I ordered when I did
