After talking to Richard I was sold on his base and Alphamount. Near makes very nice stuff.

Same. I was looking for something for the PMII on my SR-25.

After talking with Richard and seeing some pics, I didn't hesitate. I'll be using more stuff from him in the future for sure.

Absolutely beautiful, Nice setups. Trying to talk my buddy into going with the same setup you have on the 338 but he's set on AI. too bad. those TRG's are beauts

My buddy has a DSR-1 in 338LM and while shooting at 1230yds, his standard 300gr Sierras were denting the 3/8" steel while my AI 300gr Sierras were still cook'n through. 10grs of powder still makes that much difference at distance. As for the 45MOA rail, if you have 100MOA in your scope, why NOT have a 45MOA rail?? The Sako is a nice package gun and for the price, it's hard to beat but I personally think the Lapua should have started life as a straight walled cartridge because it is just that much better then the standard 338LM.
