If this is a repost then flame away. I searched but found nothing.

I watched a bunch of these and noticed the m1a.

This was the video that got me interested in Nutnfancy's channel, but he is starting to lose me.

Either way those socomIIs look bad ass.

I love his videos too but he is also losing me he is doing less gun reviews and more of everything else. But he did good with a rifle in a run and gun. As he said not an optimal choice for this style of fighting but more of a battle rifle. hence BR thread. Though it is a nice gun!

I love nutfancy, he is who he is (huge gun geek) and that's what I like about him.
Wish I had this shooting spot. Good vid.

I have nothing against the guy personaly, but I dont like how he has to use the word tactical to describe everything. My friends and I do similar stuff to what he does, but we dont act so hyper about it. I realy used to like him but now Im starting to see him as more of an armchair commando. Just my opinion, Im not trying to rag on anyone who does enjoy his videos.

Agreed, lots of fluff, no substance.

No substance ... right , Go take your AR15 , a couple handguns , some tactical gear and go running around in the woods in northern ontario .. See what substance "" that gets you ..

The guy does what he does and unlike us gets to actually use his firearms for their intended purpose so lets keep this off him and on Socom 2's , which yes are nice firearms.

At the end of the vid, when he's talking about the weight of the rifle, he makes mention of the weight of the steel mag. Has anyone ever made a synthetic/composite/plastic mag for and M14 type weapon? Is that feasible? I'm assuming it would be significantly lighter?

I noticed the part where another shooter said he had an M1A Squad, with an 18" barrel, and they agreed that 18" was better than the 16" barreled SOCOM.

TWO XTRA INCHES ....
what man wouldn't agree that TWO XTRA INCHES is better??

What impressed me was how effective his brake seems to be. The thing I like about the rifle being heavy is the lack of recoil for faster follow up, but I would have thought he was firing a 5.56 if I did not know better.

I found a retailer selling polymer m14 magazines the other night , i think they were 20 rounders but i believe it may have been a usa retailer .
