Tried out my new Norc M-14 today.

I am in love with it. Works great (had two failures to feed that were my fault; improper insertion of a 5/5 magazine), shoots great, and I had a blast. Best $400 I ever spent.

Only thing is is that I'm going to have to get a reloading press or wind up in the poorhouse .

Hey, that's a coincidence... I shot mine for the first time today too! Shoots good, for sure, banged the gong at 200 yards first try. Recoil was very managable as well, I could shoot that thing all day. I also had a failure to feed, though, but I'm pretty sure it was me and not the gun.

hey guys (rdelliot and pitdogboy) did you guys test run those stocks yet? I'm gonna hit the range with my new creation this week... check this baby out.... just gotta mount the scope and take her for a virgin run

Amen brother. I'm on the mailing list. So far, the cheapest stuff I've been able to find is some silver box Winchester 150gr. at 17.99 per 20-round box. It's just under that $1.00/round psychological threshold...

just you wait till we get our 20 rounders back- i got my dillon 550 first, then i saw this "thing" sitting over at the" Firing line"- had a big old 20 round mag sticking out of the bottom- and was only 350 bucks- well , i got that one and then the isrealis hit town- DAMNED SNIPER RIFLES- dime sized groups at 100 yards -and of course, you can't leave the thing stock- bipod, scope, drag bag, and at least 20 extra mags

That's a cool looking stock. Is that a "one off" creation? I like the larger grip area. I notice when I had the rifle to someone else to shoot for the first time, the first thing I notice is how they put their fingers on the op rod with the forward hand.
