Tried some acid etching

I made a new knife Saturday and decided to try etching a pattern on the blade, it was surprisingly easy and turned out deeper than I thought it would.

I made a temporary sheath till I get some Kydex as I cut my finger moving it around the bench. It isn't pretty but it will do for now.

Never tried that before.
I wonder if a guy could get artistic with some Liquid Masking Tape and make a detailed pattern?

I can't draw a stick man but for those with talent it might work. The acid seems to like to leach a bit in thin areas so careful application would be neccessary.
