Hello all,
I own, among other items, a Remington 700 BDL in .25-06 and a Savage 111 FCXP3 in .30-06. I would like to have the trigger pull adjusted on each - down to about 3 lbs. The Savage in particular is kind of a beast. My problem is that I cannot find a gunsmith who is willing to do it (I live in the Moose Jaw area of Saskatchewan). So, I've determined to attempt the job on my own. I have a fair bit of mechanical savvy, so I should be alright in terms of the skill set (and probably the hand tools) needed for the task. What I do not have are clear directions about how to proceed with the respective trigger mechanisms. Hence, this is what I'm asking the CGN community for - seasoned advice and knowledge.
Thanks in advance,
-Brendan
