Hi guys,
I picked up a M25 Waking Varminter in .17 H from the EE a while back and finally found some ammo for it. So I thought I would get the scope dialed in tonight but I found a strange issue with the trigger. It wouldn't let me pull the trigger so I checked the safety and it was off. After some trial and error, I found that I had to open the bolt, put the safety on, then close the bolt, then take the safety off. Then it would shoot one round. But after every round I have to put the safety on when the bolt is open and take it off once I close the bolt, other wise the trigger won't let me pull it.
I can't see the rifle being designed to work like this as it would cause some slower then need be follow up shots if I were hunting.
Does anyone know if this is standard operating procedure for this rifle or is there an issue with it?
I tried Google but couldn't find anyone having similar issues with their M25. Maybe I'm not using the correct search words.
Thanks,
Fivehundred

sounds like you are tripping the accu- crap trigger when you are closing the bolt. try gently closing the bolt or increase the spring tension on the trigger
