Had the exact same problem when I went to pick up my CZ Shadow yesterday. I had a combination lock that was way too thick to fit in the case. Squeezed it as best I could and the dealer then zip tied it shut. When I got home I grabbed one of my older Masterlock keyed trigger locks (I think they are still around, saw them on Amazon) . Was still a bit thick, but closer! So I just cut out the foam right where the lock protrudes on each side and now it fits like a glove.
