Get some 1/8 drill rod, or the shank off an old bit. KBC has ground drill rod, roll pins work too

Roll pins are usually spring steel which is much harder to cut than drill rod or shanks from drills. Any decent gunsmith or gunstore should be able to help you. If it is a problem your finding difficult,send me your mailing info and ill send you a couple sets

It does not use roll pins, it uses dowel pins, and as mentioned, 1/8" in diameter.

DO NOT use roll/spring pins.

1/8"-.125" diameter drill rod is what you seek.

The pins are a slip fit.
Roll pins are a press fit....not good.

I’ve used cut 1/8” drill bits as my gunsmith buddy showed.

Something that I’ve started using for 1/8” pin stock is worn or extra T15 torx wrenches. You get a couple of those every time you mount a scope so most people have a few laying around. Doesn’t get much better than free.

1/8" dowel pins (or 0.125). As others have said, drill shank or blank rod will work just fine, but you should be able to get hardened pins or tool steel in this size without any trouble.

It does not use roll pins, it uses dowel pins, and as mentioned, 1/8" in diameter.

Drill bit shanks and a Dremel tool to cut to length. Measure diameter with a good micrometer and measure drill bit shanks. You may find a match.
