What can you tell me about the trigger pull and design differences between a Remington 1875 vs. a Colt 1873 SAA? Approximate feel, weight of pull, creep or crispness, action lockup and durability?

I am thinking of ordering a Uberti or Pietta and am trying to choose between these 2 vintage designs, the Remington vs. the Colt. I can not travel to a dealer to try either of them out.

Another question along the same vein. I understand you can take your Colt apart and polish up the small parts to slick up the action. Is this equally possible with the Remington? Or does one design lend itself to these adjustments better than the other? Thanks :yingyang:
 
I will still be welcoming your knowledge and opinions on this subject.

In a week or so I will have both of these items in my hand as I am a successful purchaser on the EE of both a Remington and a Colt. Hurray. :dancingbanana:
