Trigger pull training with defective ammunition

So, I loaded about 1200 9mm using (accidentally) small rifle primers. This (as you might expect) causes fairly frequent misfires, 2-3 per 10 round mag. I've found that this is actually quite useful for target practice as the random misfires really reveal any trigger pull problems.

So, for you reloaders out there, give it a try. Just load a bunch with rifle primers and see just how 'snatchy' you are!
 
So you're purposely using bad reloads? This is an extremely bad idea.

You will be doing the "buy a new gun drill" sooner or later...

Well, they're only bad in that the primers are too insensitive to ignite every time. Everything else is in tolerance so I'm not sure how that would damage the gun.

Which can cause a Squib or hang fire in your face as you eject the round...
