Owned a gen 4 for a year or so now, still a bit of a Glock noob though,
What have you guys done to improve the trigger pull on your gen 4 Glock 17's?
I don't like how heavy the pull is and want to do something about it, some options seem fairly pricey.
What did you do and where did you get the parts?
Is there a simple spring kit that would do the trick?
Thanks in advance!

3.5lb connector is cheap and easy to install by yourself.probably all you need. (Stock one is 5.5lbs ps)

Brownells Glockparts and rockyourglock all have them. Several manufacturers to choose from.

That should be simple enough, does it affect reliability at all? I have some other parts I need to order from brownells too so I could throw one in the basket.

If you really want to improve the trigger and not just lighten it a bit you need to consider a drop in. I have a Zev in my gen 3, it's pretty nice.

I have a Gen4 17 and I just removed the 3.5 lbs connector back to the stock 5lbs one for IPSC and I didn't notice any difference in trigger pull. I had a gunsmith polish some trigger parts for me and I still didn't notice a difference. If I could, I would get a whole new trigger thats aftermarket but it's not legal for production IPSC division.

I have also tried playing with springs and such too and just never noticed a difference. I'm also no glock pro.

Well I put in the Zev competition spring pack and the v4 race connector and wow what a difference, I don't have a trigger pull gauge but it's very light, it's hard to feel where the brake is when you pull it. Almost surprises you, but after the first shot you can feel the reset and know your sitting right on the edge of the brake, pretty good fix for only 60$!!
