trigger recommendations ?

I have two Giessele triggers the Super Dynamic Combat outstanding two stage and my go to do it all trigger. Also have a Super Dynamic 3Gun. Have to admit not the biggest fan of the three gun. It’s a super fun trigger for up close fast run and gun shooting but is a difficult trigger to shoot accurately at distance with speed as is often required. Try running a plate rack off hand at 50-100m with one would much rather have a good single stage trigger will likely replace my super 3Gun with their new single stage. Or build another lower with it because who doesn’t love having options.

If you want to keep the cost reasonable I would go with an ALG ACT. For just over $100 I don't think it can be beat. It's a single stage and is NickelBoron coated. ALG is also the child company of Giesselle so no worries about the quality.
If you don't mind spending $400 then any of the triggers already suggested are going to serve you well.

Thanks guys. What LPK should a person go with ? I was looking at one from True North Arms. I was also looking at a Geissele or Aero Precision but no one has those in stock at the moment. I am looking for one without the trigger or grip.

Are there any LPK to stay away from ?

Thanks

giessele, pretty much any model they made is good to go. They are nice, and most importantly they are problem free and reliable.

and expensive.

I went with the ALG Trigger. The better of the two models with the extra coating. A standard AR15 trigger in principle but way better in reality. Much cleaner break and positive reset. Definitely not as good as the Giessele but a third of the price and a vast improvement over the standard ar trigger.

ERGO now makes a LPK without the trigger, Tier One Armoury in Edmonton had them in stock last time I was there. Phoenix range/store in Edmonton also had a couple different LPK's in stock last time I was there but they are a complete milspec LPK with trigger.
I would buy any brand that's in stock nearby but stay away from NEA/BCL.

ALG is made by Giessele so quality is the same. The ALG ACT is their nickel boron coated single stage trigger, I have two of them and am very happy with the performance for a $100ish trigger.

Another one to consider is velocity triggers. I picked one of the 3lb MPC and it’s pretty slick for precision rifle. $120usd from Brownells. Only thing to note on the MPC is you need a curved trigger guard otherwise the trigger won’t fit. The extended reach on the shoe is a nice touch.

Thanks everyone I picked up a Geissele Super Dynamic E , the same as the SSA E but straight Shoe on sale for 189USD from Brownells.

Good call on the Brownells sale, snagged myself the new Geissele SSP single stage with straight shoe for the $189 USD price.

I like the CMC's flat face design with the little tab on the bottom that helps you locate your finger to the same spot every time, but sadly the drop-in trigger packs won't fit the Maccabee SLR.
