Trigger tune vs. Aftermarket?

Charlie Bayne, a fine .22 fullbore and Palma shooter, said "it was like cheating" as it thought 2-stage such an advantage.

What exactly is the big advantage of a 2 stage trigger?

Your finger is under tension as it draws up 1st stage and is ready to go for second stage. Final let-off seems to be much less than a gauge wil read. Perhaps others can offer better expanation.

I can understand that. I have a number of milsurps with 2 stage triggers and they do work better than the pull weight numbers would indicate.
