Trigger weight?

The Jewels in my F-class rigs are as light as is safe, talking ounces there.
Cadex 2 stage in my PRS rifles are set light for the first stage, 1.5lb break.

The Jewel in my long range gun is set at 1 lb. The factory Rem trigger in my medium range gun is about 3 lbs, but it needs to be changed out for something better.

It varies widely. Some have it below 1 lb. Some have it higher than 3 lbs. Personal preference. Lots of matches being won with AIs that have factory triggers...

Ideally, a trigger would have multiple springs like the Jewel so that it's pull can be set over a wide range.

I think the personal preferences will vary. Personally I like a very light pull at half a pound. When I shoot I don't like to settle in with my finger on the trigger then squeeze. My method is to settle in then touch off the round without really squeezing (for me that means less movement on the rifle)

1/2 lbs on my current rig. Might try a tuned factory trigger on my current build just to see how it compares. probably settle for something in the middle. So far, zero issues with running a light trigger in prs-type matches. Finger only goes on the trigger when I'm ready to shoot.

For a strictly competitive shooting like F class I like 1/2 a pound or slightly less. For competitive shooting in a dynamic environment such as a timed tactical (i.e. run and gun) I like it in the 1 to 1.5 pound range.
