Well my buddy and I are new to shooting handguns. We went to the range together the other day and I shot my new CZ 75 Omega and he shot his new S&W M&P, both in 9mm. We did pretty well. It was his first time and at 10 yards he had quite a few bullseyes but wide overall spread. I did not have as many bullseyes but I was able to group my shot fairly tight.

Anyhow one thing I noticed when shooting his S&W was that his trigger was quite a bit smoother than my CZ and not as hard to pull.

Is it hard to do a trigger job on a CZ ? Lighten the pull and smooth it out.

CZ triggers aren't too difficult to improve:

The link shows a regular SP-01, which I understand has somewat different internals from your Omega, but the principles are the same.

Replacing the standard 20 lb mainspring with a 15 lb one will also help lighten the pull. I have this spring in my CZ and it still has reliable ignition with all brands of primer. Ghost Holster has springs:
