Triggers on Savage rifles… ??

Asking those who have used them…

What are the triggers like on Savage rifles? I've read here about their accuracy (very good), I'd like to know if their Accu-trigger system is easily adjustable, and makes for a clean break.

You will love it !!

I purchased a Savage 22-250 heavy barrel with the Accu-Trigger last spring. The rifle is extremely accurate. The trigger has no creep and has a very crisp brake.
The adjustment is easy. I have mine set at 1 1/2 lbs. I am very happy with it.

I have a Sav Mod 12 FV.I like how the trigger works,tho I have never adjusted the trigger on it , it is very easy , tho you have to remove the action from the stock.A small tool, that looks like a valve core remover for a car tire is used to turn the trigger adjustment in or out.

I have a Savage 12VLP with accu-trigger(22-250).Adjusts easily,little or no creep and is accurate.
Although the trigger is light ,I am not totally convinced that
MINE will adjust down to the "claimed" 2 pound setting,but is probably close.
Overall, I am very happy with it.

Another vote for the 12 FV. My .223 is my favorite gun, hands down. It shoots the cheapie Winchester white box ammo so accurately, it makes a guy want to jump for joy everytime you go downrange to check your targets!!

I have a Savage Model 210F Slug Warrior and am impressed with the positive trigger pull! Like others have stated earlier in this thread, no creep whatsoever!

Accutirggers are slick, and I think that it woudl be agreat addition to many hunting rifles.

Almost like a military 2 stage trigger for safety, but WAY nicer...

I had one pre-accutrigger. Worked fine, check savageshooters.com for adjustment procedures, easy.

All I can say about the accutrigger is when i switch between my stevens 200 with the pre-accutrigger trigger and back to my savage 16 with accutrigger, the difference is night and day. You can adjust it right down, to around two pounds, and breaks clean and consistent.

I love the Accu-Trigger on my Savage. (10FP LE1A 308) I have mine dialed all the way down, very crisp.
