hi, just wondering if anyone has had any issues with their rem 700 trigger tech triggers. i had my 308 at the range today and 15 shots in started to have issues. The trigger isnt resetting, and when you close the bolt the firing pin just drops with the bolt. I tried cleaning it and also adjusting the trigger up to the full 4 lbs and nothing helped.

I'm having the same problem with mine....it didn't pass the "6d" safety test after installing it unless I set it to over 3.5 lbs. I"ve sent it in to Frank and he should be getting it soon so hopefully the issue will get resolved.
 
Had a similar issue with one I'd purchased for my father's 700sps.
Pull trigger, trigger clicks to rear without dropping firing pin, wiggle bolt, firing pin drops.
Did it less when pull weight was set lower. Failed about 1 in 20 times.
Returned it to the retailer, the replacement worked 100%.

Issue has been resolved, new trigger on the way! Triggertech has unbelievable customer service, very fast and painless. Seems as tho I am one of very few ones to receive a defective product and they took care of the issue fast, thanks to the guys at Triggertech.
 
Put one in my 700 ADL triple deuce 2 weeks ago. Fired approx 80 rounds since. No issues. I love it. I was careful to follow the factory instructions regarding adjustments. I set the weight at 1.625 lbs as I will use it for both hunting and CF BR sporting rifle matches.
 
I had/have the same problem on my 700 with the TriggerTech. Adjusted it very low and it wouldn't reset the trigger. The bolt would just snap down into the closed position and not reset. I was told to adjust it back up until it would reset properly... It resets now but is not as light of a trigger pull as I expected.

What does the scale show?

Hi,

Please call to explain any occurrences that you don't think are right. The trigger should always set no matter the weight. However, if cycled aggressively at below 2.5 lbs there can be following (I.e. not setting) on an action that is not timed by a gunsmith. If you are experiencing following at low weight while cycling the action smoothly, give us a ring.

I received my replacement trigger this morning and just installed it after work now....its working as it should, I can go as light as possible without any malfunctions.

i for one refuse to buy from TRIGGERTECH for one simple reason. you are a Canadian company, why are your prices in USD. let the Americans pay in US and let us pay in CDN. the same goes for any Canadian company that does the same.
