Trijicon 1-8x28 AccuPower

The Vudu seems nice, but personally I find myself wanting a 1-8. I am not shure about those reticles. It seems nice that the outer illuminated ring zooms out of view but I wonder what does the illumination looks like inside with that outer reticle of of the field of view? Will it glare? Also as this seems like a great idea I am also wondering about the size and usefulness at 1x of that outer reticle.

To me the outer ring seems perfect at 1x on the trijicon but fat at 8x and perfect on the eotech at 6x but too big at 1x. I don't know and also I have no on hand experience with ether.

it isnt a "target" scope. you are supposed to frame the target in the circle and hit center mass, it is not for precision rather for speed. the circle forces you eye to look at the middle, in a typical cross hair, you force your eye to find the middle then the target.

Not sure why anyone would buy an optic from a scumbag company that lies about it's products and sells them to servicemen.

i think he is going on about the POI shift when going from -25* to 40* that the scopes had and the lawsuit over that.

Apparently people don't actually do any research or read the press releases about issues. The POI shift occurs at ALL TEMPERATURES, under testing the most extreme shifts were at the EXTREME ranges of temperature. Don't forget the reticle fade due to delamination(not waterproof/watertight) and parallax. Oh and inconsistent click values, battery drain when off and battery contact failure. But don't take my word for it, the answers are all RIGHT HERE!

Looks awesome. How is the quality? Glass?

The Mag lever (costs a leg) is almost a necessity if you want to adjust quickly. All the adjustment knobs are smooth and tactile. Sorry don't have anything to compare against beside my Elcan specter 1-4x but it's definoitely replacing it.
