Trijicon AccuPoint scopes

Hi Guys

I'm looking at getting an AccuPoint 3-9x40 mil dot. Does any one out there have experience with these good or bad? What color of dot do you use?

i have the 5-20 x50 i think it is with a green dot, its nice and clear and great in low light conditions

I have the 3-9 with the post. Red triangle. Again, very clear, holds its zero thus far, and is serving me well on my hunting rifle.

I have one in amber, very nice, clear sharp and bright. Like it quite a bit.

I have one in 5-20 x50 AO with green dot. Works very well in low light conditions and the green dot is nice and bright, even in darkness. I had it on an M1A. The combo was quite heavy. Good for road hunting and still hunting. You may tire fast if doing lots of hiking. Good scope though.

There are new higher magnification models coming out next week at the Shot Show as Trijicon appears to be going after Nightforce in that area (application/price and quality). Time will tell...Phil.

any word if they've increased the amount of elevation adjustment with the new models?

I have a 1-4x24 with amber triangle reticle.

LOVE it.

Don't think I could ever go back to cheap optics after this one.

That's not a lot of magnification for a mil-dot IMO.

You might go for a duplex with a 3-9.

That depends entirely on the calibre of rifle it is to be mounted to and the users ability. The standard magnification for mil snipers used to a fixed 10.
