Trijicon AccuPower 1-8 VS TA33?

I don’t have much time to decide so I’m looking for some input from people who have used them. I was pretty much dead set on the TA33 until the seller I am talking to offered me a accupower 1-8 with MOA reticle at the same price point. Heavy VS lightweight? 3 power vs 1-8? HELP ME PLEASE!

Oh yeah I’m mounting it on an SLR build.

I had a ta 33 really nice acog if eye relief is an issue the field of view is small like looking through a toilet paper roll but you shoot with both eyes open anyway i would go with a 1-8 as far as acogs my favorite is the ta31 if you ever want to trade the 1-8 for a mint ta31 let me know also have the rmr on top
 
General purpose 223.... mounting on an SLR build. I will likely be shooting 300 yards and in. I like having the 1x for close stuff but honestly at 5 times the weight I’m not sure if it’s worth it. I might stick with the original plan of the TA33 unless someone can sell me on the variable?
 
I would really look through a ta33 before i bought it the reticle is very small and the field of view is tiny
 
Ended up buying the TA33. the accupower 1-8 was really heavy and I found it too bulky for that rifle. Thanks for the input guys.
