Hi fellas. I have a Trijicon TA31F that I purchased used at the TSE. It never came with an owners manual and I emailed Trijicon to ask for one. They came back that they need a serial number for it. I thought that this was a little stange, and I remember hearing stories of guys getting in trouble because of improper export permits and such. I do not wish to have this happen to me, but would really like an owners manual. Any advice?

If it was not imported properly, then you have no warranty on the item. Simple as that unfortunately. They don't look to prosecute, not worth the problems...you just will not be able to get it fixed if you have problems. It has happened to a number of people when they returned items for warranty work. So it is either legal exported from the US or not. The implication is your warranty....

Im looking at buying one privately over the internet how can I tell how old the TA11D ACOG is. As the half life is 10-12 years or something does anybody have one with a recent #to compare? this one is #38** (the stars are numbers Im just not posting them)
