Guys,

JUST bought a brand new set of Trijicon night sights for my HK45 (guy bought them new from Wolverine in the fall - never installed by him), and I installed them last night.

Used a spring punch and leather, like I've installed a bunch of other sights. No issues. Looked good last night, although I noticed the front was 'slightly' dimmer than the rears.

Took it out again tonight - the front is TOTALLY dead. No glow at all. I'm guessing the install process broke something internally.

Anyone know if Trijicon warranty will cover this? And if so, how do I go about getting warranty service? I'm guessing it was related to my install, so unsure if they'll cover it. Warranty page on their website only talks about US procedure - nothing about how to get warranty in Canada, and no drop down boxes with anything other than States!

Anyone know what to do in this situation? I'll probably contact Wolverine in the morning, but not sure even if they can do anything. Ordering JUST the front will be impossible... so hoping I'm not out another $150!!!

Trijicon is a great company that stands behind their product. Call them with the SKU and I bet you'll have another enroute asap.

BTW- what was the date stamp on you sights?

Not a bad idea... The date stamp is 11.

You broke the Tritium vial. They need to be installed with a sight pusher to avoid this issue. Doubt warranty would cover it but try anyway.

Yeah I agree I'm pretty sure I cracked it during install. I've never had a problem not using a sight pusher before, but looks like my luck ran out!
