Trimming 300WM Case

In my loading manual it tells me to trim my cases to 2.610",But I have new brass that is 2.620".So what's with that?Should I trim them all to 2.610" anyhow?I have 500 pcs and they range from 2.612"-2.623".What will I do?

I just finished trimming up some 300 brass last night, like you have stated the min length for 300 WN is 2.610" and the max is 2.620" by the wording in the Speer bible. If your brass falls in between these reading I would trim all brass to the min length. Your trimming duties shouldn't be as much work next time as well.

Trimming

Ya trimming is fun! I'm going to get one of those 3 way cutters to cut down the time, I have one of the hand tools for beveling the case that's the worst part by far.

You don't _need_ to trim it. The 'trim to' length is the minimum length, so long as your brass is all a consistent length and within spec, you can fire it and trim it later.

I trim mine, but I know I don't _need_ to;-)
